How insulting to members of the Reserve and National Guard! My brother left the Army as a Major, but at that time joined the Nat Guard where he was promoted to Lt Col. He has been recalled to active duty. He is a Lt Col stationed at Cent Com.
It is not meant to be. Anyone who earns rank in the active, reserves or guard is good to go. It's is this guy's Brig Gen status in the California State Military Reserve that is in question. He retired from the National Guard as an O-6....he is a retired US Army Colonel, not a BG.
