I understand that you, like many others, like Ron Paul on domestic issues, but disagree with his foreign policy. Here’s some food for thought - George W. Bush, over the course of his administration, has shown that he has no loyalty to the ideas of small government, the Constitution, the American people, etc. He’s sold us out so many times; No Child Left Behind, the Patriot Act, Medicare Part D, CAFTA, “comprehensive immigration reform”, the NAU, etc. Most people on this forum seem to recognize that fact. Ron Paul has opposed every one of these measures. So, my question is, what is it about Iraq that makes you think that all of a sudden Bush was doing the right and honorable thing and the Paul is wrong?
A good portion of the Paul-haters are people who will defend that kind of stuff.
Well because Bush told us so and Powell showed these funny little slides at the UN. Facts? We'll collect those after we destroy another third world country we have to turn around and rebuild on our tax dollars. All I can say is thank goodness the NIE report on Iran was released. Course I imagine the adminstration is probably digging around in the proverbial dumpsters of the world looking for another 'curveball' about now...
