The U.S. government admitted today in federal court that the prosecution's star witness in the criminal trial of Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean – confessed drug dealer Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila – lied under oath. "He told some lies on the stand," Mark Stelmach, the assistant U.S. attorney representing prosecutor U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton said under questioning by a three-judge 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel in New Orleans

This is like debating with sideshow freaks. The geek, the two headed baby and the bearded lady.

You support Sutton, the prosecution and the professional drug smuggler, but I'm the fool? lol...

This will get even funnier when this thing just continues to unravel and they're forced to release these two.

Can't wait for that day...I'll ping ya here. Wait till they start ratting each other out. lol

LOL !!!!

I know what I know .... What you want me to throw myself into some Orwellian Memory hole?

It's prolly the greatest story which will never be told. Just axe Maxine Waters how she got Slickmeister to appoint her car salesman hubby to be US Ambassador to the Bahamas.

That’s all ya got Bob.
You can’t admit when you are wrong and can only resort to childish name-calling.
Pretty pathetic.

I support the law. You on the other hand support the same kind of police state travesties that typify most third world countries.

As far as the appeal, I predict the 10 year mand will be tossed...it was applied incorrectly. And I’m good with that and Ibelieve all others will be as well...I haven’t seen one person think it was correct, no matter which side of the argument they are on. So R&C should be freed with time served. But don’t expect R&C to be cleared of any of the other charges not related to the 10 year mand, nor will they get a new trial.

The funny thing is to a letter almost all of the border security fans here supporting R&C have steadfastly proclaimed their complete innocence and when the 10 year mand is tossed you’ll run around high fiving each other as if that proves you were correct all along. You’ll say “all we wanted was for them to be freed”.

Baloney.

This coming from the same keyboard as they guy who said "that nut job Koresh deserved a thumping."
You have a strange interpretation of "police state."

It has been obvious for a long time that Ramos and Compean are innocent, at most guilty of a minor infraction.

Bearded Lady, I said he needed a “thumping”, not that he deserved to be burned alive.

Please keep up.

1. Illegal discharge of firearm.
2. Assault with intent to commit great bodily harm.
3. Destruction of evidence.
4. Obstruction of justice.

Which on of these is the “minor” infraction?

And if Sutton knew they were lies at the time he testified, but didn’t inform the Court, what then of Sutton?

He would be be another Mike Nifong, deserving of disbarment at a minimum, and possibly even an indictment.

Johnny Sutton should get at least ten years in prison just as the men he framed.

I’m done. One would have thought the Elian or Schiavo crises might have pushed me over the edge, but no, it was Ramos and Compean. The biggest straw is not always the one that breaks the camels back.

One thing I have learned in this and the other affairs is that people on the right can be just as extreme, illogical and inflexible as the worst on the left. I thought we had the high road, now I realize few are interested in defending that path, they’re only interested in defending their turf, right or wrong.

It just isn’t worth the fight anymore because we’re not fighting for anything lasting. I’m going to go sit on a beach with a mai tai, I’ll think of my past battles fondly, if not regrettably.

Have fun all.

This will be my last here as the thread has been exhausted at this point...Prior to further discoveries, revelations in this case, and the agents early release.

You're wrong about me, and your support of the prosecution. I am compelled to tell you, I'm more pro-law enforcement than you'll ever know. You have no idea.

Even though I respectively but strongly disagree with you here, looking at the big picture, I have reservations in regards to your adamant position of support for the prosecution in this matter.

I will decline calling you names and attempt to mock as you as you have done I and maybe others.

Best of luck and Merry Christmas
