Huck will straighten out the boozers just like he did the smokers. Some drinkers were all to happy to kick the smokers out so they can have the bar for themselves. Huck will fix it...

I have the feeling that if the Huckster had been around in 1919, he would be championing the 18th Amendment...

That's the problem. Abortion is one thing, as the right to life delineated in our founding documents is prior to all other rights.

Smoking and drinking however, while destructive to the individual, cannot be regulated at the federal level in a constitutionally kosher way. If a predominantly Baptist county in Texas - or LDS county in Utah - wants to remain "dry", that's one thing and is federalism at its finest. But federal statute!? No. Not for this.
