This was before Kenny got 20 face lifts. He now looks like Joan Rivers with a beard.

It's the perfect Christmas song, but too powerful to listen to whilst driving. My favorite version is by Kathy Mattea.

I listened to the song, very beautiful, am going to throw a theological bomb into it though.

The words asking Mary if she knew her baby boy would make you new, and soon deliver you. Well this process was already done before he was born and conceived.

Jesus could not lie in a sinful womb, a body born into sin, Mary was the Immaculate Conception. A lot of people do not understand that the God who is infinite, can do all things. Mary was saved by Christ at her conception, to be His mother, the mother of our Lord.

Read The Magnificat in Luke 1:46-56. Mary speaks of “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saviour. Read the whole passage, these are the words of Mary speaking.

These words are spoken when visiting Elizabeth. When hearing Mary, Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit, and she spoke with a loud voice, “Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb....why should I be honored with a visit from the mother of my Lord? Upon the moment of your greeting, the child in my womb leaped for joy.

Read all of Luke One. Mary is special, and saved by God to be the mother of our Lord, He who is the second part of God in the Holy Trinity, who could not possibly lie 9 months in a sinful womb. God created Adam and Eve without sin, He created Mary without sin.
