I once had respect and admiration for southerners. I would gladly vote for president candidates from the south. Now that I have been fully exposed to their anti-Mormon bigotry (not all of them, but a substantial number of them) I doubt that I will ever support a southerner for president again.

Painting with a broad brush is a simple excuse JC, indeed it is the cowards excuse, one I would expect from a Democrat.

I have seen a few anti Mormon posters here, but the bulk, including many of us Southerners, just simply see Mitt for what he is POLITICALLY, a moderate at best politician wearing a conservative costume trying to win votes.

I guess I should expect such a lame response from one trying to tout Mitt Romney on the best CONSERVATIVE site in the web, but I guess I was too optimistic.

I've known Seventh Day Adventists and Mormons (fine folks :) et al, over the years.
Most just ignore, their antagonists' stupidity / lack of intellect.
They seemed to understand such "small minds").
Who knows?...Most of these Anti-Mormon comments (morons), may just be ploys for sympathy.....or maybe; something much more sinister.

It is not bigoted to speak the truth. My daughter was a Mormon for 8 years. I know quite a bit about the inside workings of that church. It is not a Christian church by any objective theological measure, and potential voters have a right to be informed about that.
