My 22 yr old daughter wants one of those. Desperately. She keeps telling her Dad, “I’d like to buy an insect”. She’ll settle for a new one as vintage is hard to find. I remember them as being rather a cold ride in the winter.
I’ve been working on the heating system (found and bought the car back in July) and this is what I discovered.
The faster the engine runs, the more heat, since the cooling fan supplies the heated air. And at highway speeds, it almost runs me out of the car.
