Recommendations for Conservative RSS Feeds (Vanity)

Posted on 12/02/2007 5:43:39 AM PST by NewHampshireDuo

I'd like some advice and recommendations from the Freeper community. I have a technical/educational website and I'm thinking about adding a few RSS feeds for news headlines. (For those who don't know, RSS is "Real Simple Syndication" and what you see on a site is a box with scrolling headlines. You can click on a headline to open up a window with the original article.)

Of course the news software that I have has prebuilt links to NYT, CNN, etc. Yuck.

Since my site is physics related I'll have a feed or two from orgs like the American Ass'n of Physics. I'd like to intersperse this with a conservative feed or two. Given the audience, these feeds should not be wildly conservative (no link to Mike Savage) but established and solid. I'm thinking of, for example, IBD or the like.

Do you folks have any other suggestions?

Thanks all. I ended up with the American Ass’n for the Advancement of Science’s feed and then the feeds from JunkScience.com and Heartland Institute. The latter are science related so they fit the theme of the site better than feeds from general news orgs.
