I’m thinking maybe the original commenter considered that even ALLOWING homos in the military was a bad idea even if we don’t ask and don’t tell.
I caution this assumes two things, a)that I know what the original comment was thinking but I speculate and b)did the don’t ask/don’t tell policy then allow homos in the military that would have been denied, boom, before?
I really don’t know the answer to either but since...heh, us Republicans are all of a sudden consumed with the issue of gays in our military, it does make me wonder.
You see how Hill and her Hollywood manipulators manage to change the debate. Cause Iraq ain’t gonna win the Dems this election. Hill’s got to make it about emotion.
I can’t imagine why a homo would even WANT to be in the military. i admit that on such stuff I am naive.
Prior to the election of St. Bill of Fellatio...thre was a zero tolerance on gays in the military. Clinton ran for office and teased the LGBT folks with the prospect of lifting the ban entirely.
He then went back on his word (big surprise) and instituted “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell”.
So it’s no surprise...given the support (and speculation) from the Gay community that Her Thighness has...that she’d turn to this hot button issue.
If you were a gay man and had an opportunity to be surrounded by all these strong, muscular young men... well...
[I cant imagine why a homo would even WANT to be in the military. ]
