I’z on of them Slow Talking Lanky southerners. Born, raised in the mountains of NC.
I have lived up north, NJ for 37 years. When I hear a recording of myself I still laugh at my own “drawl”.
Many of my competitors mistook my drawl as “dumb” also.
They truly regretted that!
