The POTUS has a better chance than anyone else to use the bully pulpit and advocate small-government principles. That’s part of genuine conservatism. Nope he can’t do it alone, of course.

He spent his entire time in Congress trying to cut down on waste, regulation, and spending.
He has an outstanding track record.
