The prospect of a commander-in-chief who might be prone to depression during a crisis could deter voters.

Why has nothing been reported on Hillary's seroius bouts of depression yet? This report is from Carl Bernstein. The media can't hide everything.

Dear Mr.Bernstein,

It is suggested that you upgrade your medical insurance immediately.

A person taking antidepressants, or having a history of treated depression is generally disqualified for any form of FAA Medical Certificate. That means that someone on Zoloft can’t even fly a Cessna-172.

Now this woman wants to command the most powerful air force in the world, and all its nuclear-capable bombers.

She never ceases to amaze me.

The book says Clinton's "emotional state" was "as fragile as it had ever been" in late 1994 after her close friend Vince Foster had committed suicide

I wonder how often she has nightmares telling her thugs to either make the hit or cover it up.

Oh' never mind you need a soul to have nightmares...................

I’m sure Darth Vader had his down days too... They both had the blood of children on their hands.

Hillary Clinton, the frontrunner to become the next American president

This is where the Democrat Media storyline has been leading. Wondered how long it would take before they would implement it.

I believe that this is undeniably a large hole in Hillary’s inevitability balloon. And from Carl Bernstein.

Although the Clinton campaign has attempted to dismiss the book, Bernstein's pedigree and sympathy towards the former first lady's policies make this difficult.

He could still be carrying the Clinton water here. Unless he has some evidence that she was taking anti-depressants, or was seeing a psychiatrist, he's merely repeating the unsubstantiated opinion of one man, David Gergen. All Hillary has to do is say it's a lie/smear, and she gets sympathy votes...unless someone can prove it's true. Since it doesn't sound like there's evidence for it, I'd expect a backlash about this. Bernstein's smart enough to know that unsubstantiated allegations usually backfire; which leads me back to my first point that he's carrying her water.

“Did you find your husbands philandering depressing?”

“Did you find that Monica hanging out in the Oval office was depressing?”

“Did your husband’s impeachment make you depresed?”

“Did your husbands repeated denial of rape accusations make you depressed?”

“Were you depressed after you had Vince shot”

“Did you find Web’s conviction depressimg”

Its amazing that this book will even see the light of day or that its author would write it in the first place. They must think there is a net positive for Hillary in there somewhere?

Heh, heh. Confirmation. There was just a poll out the other day that revealed that DemocRATS are more likely to consider themselves as mentally ill than are Republicans.

This seems to be from India. Will any of this get attention in the American media?

Interesting that Bernstein buys the official version that Foster's death was a suicide.

If I were Hillary, looking in the mirror would make me depressed.

Hillary also displayed persistent signs of melancholy as a student.

If you looked like this, you'd be melancholy too.

Couple her bouts with depression with her bouts with stupidity and you get somebody who has no business holding office.

This feels like an attempt to humanize her. Up to now she’s been known as a calculated personality with no actual human qualities like warmth or compassion. But if she’s shown to be at least vulnerable once in her life, it panders to that element in our culture that regards depression as a sign of emotional depth and capacity. Which she has neither of, and anyone watching her over the years would know that.

Slick never released his medical records, and I think Hillary has also refused to release her’s. Wonder what prescriptions we might learn about if her records were available?

This is something voters have a right to know. Showing understanding for those who’ve suffered depression does not extend to electing them president without knowledge of their mental and emotional health.

She probably was thinking "I could do a better job than that jerk (her husband). Why wasn't I elected instead.". I'm not surprised that she was depressed.
