Hackers have newer methods to hack into your systems.
They are smart enough to detect security loop holes in your PC and enter through open ports, unencrypted Wi-Fi connections, malicious websites or internet servers.
It is better you check your PC periodically for invasions and protect your system to prevent pilfering and damage of data.

I burned the CD, told Fedora to run it's self-diagnostic, which came back good. I dunno, maybe it just needs more RAM for a live session. Like I said, it looks very good. I just don't want to have to go through another fdisk routine* to get all my hard drive space back if I can't at least make the secondary read only. Why even show me a drive exists, know what I mean?
*Maybe there's an easier way I've never learned, but Nero 6 can clone a hard drive, (same as what I understand Norton's Ghost can), something that should be done anyway if one has the ability, so it's not like it's a total pain to get my setup back. With only a few minues and keyboard clicks, I can regain that e-mail in OE from Aunt Martha, you know, the one that I'm supposed to forward to seven others or I'll die. :)
I have yet to see the Fedora installer *not* see the HDD drives attached. You can go through the installer to the point where it asks abot partitioning the drive. Choose “custom layout” and look to see what drives are available. It should show you both drives. If so, you can create your layout on the primary drive, with the secondary drive being available.
“So are mine. Without paying either bloated company a cent.”

It sees the drives, but won’t mount them even as read only, won’t show the contents. They show up in the.... what is it called, the Dolphin file manager?
I haven’t messed with it today since it takes forever to do anything “live”. If I install, will save what you said as a text file on the pen drive, which Fedora sees. Seems live CD’s, except for Knoppix, only allows you removeable drive access. (I’m on a dial-up, which I’ve never figured out how to make the modem work, so I have to reboot to Winduhs to get on the web and search for answers or respond here).
One of the things on the list:
Tracking hackers
3D-Traceroute : Enhancement for the Tracert command.
Can I use this to find where a hacker/spyware/trojan-maker scum lives and beat the holy hell out of him?!
Works like a charm!
Will just keep looking and taking those baby steps.
