A lot of illegal immig talk amplified after Sept 11th. Mexicans running across the border in the dark is illegal and yes morally dubious. Punishing Mexicans for running across the border for the terrorist act that 19 sick arabs who flew here on luxury jets from the middle east is probably more wrong. Barring the entry of arab men would seem more appropriate. If I follow your rational, if a bomb did go off, the best reaction would be to roll AC-130’s on the Mexican border and shoot it up which would be the right retaliation and prevent another attack?

At least half of the 10.3 million immigrants who have arrived since 2000 are illegal. Immigrants now account for one in eight U.S. residents, the highest level in 80 years.
Forty-seven percent of all immigrants and their young children are on Medicaid or are uninsured.
Thirty-three percent of immigrant-headed households use at least one welfare program compared with 19 percent for natives. It is food assistance and Medicaid that explain the numbers.
Buchanan also writes something that is obvious to most people, but not to the politicians who want the votes of illegals cum citizens. To avoid what he calls "a tangle of squabbling nationalities," Buchanan urges: no amnesty for the 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens; a border fence from San Diego to Brownsville; congressional declarations that children born to illegal aliens are not citizens and English is the language of the United States; and a "timeout" on all immigration.
But read it if you can and understand that the US is heading toward the same path as other democracies, who by the way, no longer exist.
