An armed man, possibly with a bomb, has taken people hostage at Hillary Clinton's campaign office in Rochester, N.H.

Clinton was not in New Hampshire Friday. She was scheduled to give an address at the Democratic National Committee meeting in Vienna, Va., Friday afternoon, but DNC Chairman Howard Dean announced from the podium that Clinton would not speak. New York TV station WNBC reported that the suspect has demanded to speak to her.

Police said a man in his 40s, with salt-and-pepper hair, is in the building and has what appears to be an explosive device strapped to his body, TV station WMUR reported.

“Stanley claimed a device had been planted in his head by the government to control his thoughts.”

That confirms it, he’s a Democrat.

When you want the lowdown, go to Huffington Post (cough)... gee, they really found this fast, even the voice mail recording details... If I didn’t know Huffington loathed Hillary, i’d think... nevermind.
Good work over there guys.

“How many people think this was a Hillary stunt?”

Are you being serious? Think it through. Who would be willing to go to jail for years in order to help their candidate with a bit of publicity. Moreover, who would be dumb enough to believe said person wouldn’t blab about the scheme when facing 10 years in prison?

All I could find on him was a car accident in July of 2006... he was hurt as a passenger.

Huffington Post quoting FOX News. Part of the “bomb” belt he was wearing were highway flares:

Ahhhh...

Clinton cancels DNC speech

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Hillary Clinton has canceled her speech before the Democratic National Committee as a result of the developments at her New Hampshire office, DNC Chairman Howard Dean announced.

“Unfortunately as some of you know, there is a hostage situation in New Hampshire involving a Clinton campaign staff person,” he said. “The details are sketchy at this time, but understandably Senator Clinton is now dealing with this very difficult problem and she is not going to be able to join us today. And we will keep them in our prayers and hope for a resolution to this situation in New Hampshire.”

Clinton adviser Harold Ickes said no decision had been made yet on whether Clinton would go to New Hampshire. He said she is taking her cue from what police negotiators on the scene advise.

Meanwhile, two other presidential candidates — Sen. Joe Biden and Rep. Dennis Kucinich — commented on the situation in their speeches to the DNC.

“I heard the news about Hillary’s headquarters,” Biden said. “And I am sure like everybody here - I pray to god that it all works out right and I wish Hillary the best of luck as she heads to New Hampshire.”

“At this time when one of our fellow candidates has to be concerned about her staff members — and we are in solidarity with Hillary at this moment when we think of what she is going through and what her staff is going through,” Kucinich said.

The bombings were funner, but now the Clintons are out of the WH this will have to suffice. They did it for CNN.

No way this is a plant.

However, Hillary just used up her good luck for the week...you can be sure that she (and the MSM) will turn this into a political windfall.

Look for a story coming up about how it was a near miss for her (or Bubba, or Chelsea). And, if this kook is anything other than a Democrat, lookout.

Of course, where the MSM isn't trumpeting his political affiliation already, I'd imagine that he's not a Republican.

"You can bet this was staged."

Highly unlikely. Nutcases often gravitate towards politicians and celebrities. I think that Hillary's HQ office was chosen simply because it was convenient.
