The polls exclude Paul's name & they are polling the same registered Republicans who voted in 2004, on land-line phones. Many of Paul's supporters are independents and newcomers.

Which -- including the large number of lefties who are registered as Democrats -- is one of the main reasons why he has no chance to get the nomination. In states with closed primaries, a great number of his so-called supporters can't even vote for him. Of course, with college kids and lefties, it's unsure they even would. A yard sign or $50 is one thing. Actually going to the polls? Nah, even if they could get a ballot with his name on it in the few states with open primaries, most in that group can't be bothered.

Of course, his Congressional constituents in Texas can and do vote, and they aren't happy with him right now. So it would seem that while walking the razor's edge between common conservative values and the lunatic fringe, he slipped, fell, and cut his own throat.

These aren't the moonbat leftists, they're real people with families who just happen to be registered Democrats. And they're changing their party affiliation to Republican to vote for Dr. Paul.

You might be surprised about the college kids and young adults too. Many of them are flocking to Paul's rallies and signing up to be registered to vote for the first time. People keep comparing this to Dean in 2004, about how the army of college kids are going to vote for him blah blah, but the comparison is disingenuous. Dean still ran a traditional, top-down campaign, he just used the internet more effectively than the other candidates at the time.

Of course, his Congressional constituents in Texas can and do vote, and they aren't happy with him right now.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Every election cycle Dr. Paul hears the same thing and proceeds to win as usual. Chris Peden has less than $1,000 on hand and the affection for Paul nationally will carry-over in his Congressional district.
