*sigh* ... Total Romney aside ... words are my trade; an important part of my line of work with words is to steer clients away from confusing bullsh*t for communication.(You must word smith for a porno mag!)

People respond to straight-shooter messages that don't rely on hollow lingual gew-gaws like "shining moment." Gew-gaws are a sure sign of someone who doesn't know his/her own message.

So for me, it doesn't matter who the phrase is pimping; I read "shining moment" and roll my eyes, thinking, "Who do you think you're kidding? Shining moment THIS!"

I see you like the working in darkness, no wonder Shining Moment irks you!

In my world Pimp was never a mainstream word, and it belong's to those who surely was NOT Improving The Shining moment more like tarnishing the moment!

BTW since you are from the other world "Improve The Shining Moment!" is from a Hymn!

I figured it was from a hymn. You sound like you've not gotten out much in life. And all your protestations and references to grammar and composition don't change the truth: the "improve the shining moment" thing is pure empty feel-good hokum in the context in which you use it. Personally, I think what you are doing is a bastardizing insult to the hymn. The phrase should stay there where it belongs.

On the contrary, if I were to start encouraging my clients to go for junk expressions like "Improve the Shining Moment," the result would be less business for them, less honesty for consumers who may need or want my clients' products, less work for me, and less prosperity for all.

A sanctimonious somebody lives in a nice cozy shell and thinks others who don't share it live in "darkness," but that somebody ain't me, I don't think!
