I wrote Rushbo and told him what I have to do. I have a cat who will sometimes paw my face at 4am. I keep a small plastic container w/lid filled with favorite dry food in or on my nightstand. When I get the paw and the silent meow..at 4am, all I do is reach over, snap off the lid and put it down. I go back to sleep.

Great idea! Especially since I don't get the paw, I get the claw. And my hunka, hunka purrin' love didn't get the nickname of Ol' Scimitar Claws fer nuthin' :)
