What don't people understand about the function of a primary-level debate? It's designed for the party to choose their own candidate--not for the other party to throw gotcha questions at candidates they have no intention of voting for in the first place.

Funny how Cooper knew General was an ‘activist of some sort’, very limited choices after that.

Good point. Why can't the Republican Party stop kowtowing to the liberal media and hold all of its debates on Fox News?

Bingo!

I am with Rush on this one (as many others), the GOP candidates either at the beginning or some time during the debate show, should have just left the stage in the middle of the airing.

I bet many today, wish they had. Ron Paul and a couple of the other single digiters would have more than likely stayed.

unfortunalty it is clear CNN used the debate to attack republicans.

The fact is the GOP primary IS the presidential debate. The outcome of the GOP debate will determine if it is going to be NYC liberal vs NYC liberal or Ark Liberal vs Ark Liberal.

CNN was attempting to control the outcome of the presidential election explicitly.
