the entire hannity interview was a chance for those two to smooth over his various faux pas. the stupid phone during the speech thing, the judy in the cabinet thing, etc. Everything was a big joke.

.....rootie really fumbled this when asked about it last night, looked sneaky.............. Ander/Cooper should have asked: "You were blanking your mistress on the taxpayers' dime. You then tried to dump your wife and kids on the streets to move your mistress into the mayoral mansion. Is that why your kids don't talk to you, and don't use your name?"

It's a good thing all this is coming out now ... in the primaries, we can choose somebody decent.
Then we can tell the 'rats: "We upped our standards. Up yours!"

I don’t see how this plays. Hillary defended her horndog husband and Rudy is a horndog. Strikes me as a wash.

it galls me to sit there and agree with alan colmes when he makes disparaging remarks about Rudy. there is NO defending him, he is indefensible.

That being the case how the hell did he rack up that much in the way of expenses for an affair? I'm thinking it was for travel expenses for his security detail. Also it's not like the mayor of New York can just disappear from his job, so perhaps some aides need to come along. Also he probably needs a driver since it would look odd if the mayor was seen driving himself.
Of course all of these people would normally be paid in any caee, although perhaps their travel expenses would need to be separated out. Sounds like the problem was that Giuliani needed all these people to travel with him, but there really was no budget allocated for non-city-related travel.
Of course it would have been vastly simpler (and cheaper) if Nathan could have visited him.

Rooty's denial last night ain't gonna fly. It was IMO Clintonian, which figures since Rooty and BOTH 'Toons' are so much alike.
And I don't think the NY Post will let this go. And next up I hope is the NY Sun - they seem to be able to dig deep into stuff like this.
In any case, I think Rooty is now ....
Plus this goes beyond any 'value issue', on face value this bookkeeping scam is criminal. So maybe Rooty can share a cell with ex Gov George Ryan (RINO-IL) in that Federal Prison in Minn. I hear Ryan is lonely so they can pass time comparing how they both screwed tried screwing the taxpayers.
(And Rooty's 'NY Was Not A Sanctuary City' line was a hoot. I couldn't believe he actually tried pulling that off. Anyone who bought that is a certified moron.)

Did I hear Rudy correctly last night...he blamed his security detail for how the billing was handled, he said he had nothing to do with what department was billed..
