Abortion questioner is declared Edwards supporter (and a slobbering Anderson Cooper fan); Log Cabin Republican questioner is declared Obama supporter; lead toy questioner is a prominent union activist for the Edwards-endorsing United Steelworkers

The first rule of the left is “win by any means necessary”. They don’t live by the same set of rules as normal people. They have no principles, no morals, no ethics.
This campaign will get even dirtier because the left is close to getting a real communist in the White House.
Fox News had another bit on this debate. Someone said, “I didn’t think Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell was an issue at the front of GOP Voters minds anyway...” or words to that effect.
heh
We've been complaining about the libs on FOX. Turnabout is fair play, I think.
This is clearly the case, but of course the Libs will of course still shout that all the MSM is biased toward the Republicans.
Oh, the press will love this. Just like when Donald Segretti pulled some “dirty trick” on the Muskie campaign, the “horror” over this incredible “crime” never ceased with long teachy platitudes from the Washington Post, etc. about “war not politics”, etc. When Dick Tuck pulled s similar stunt, he was the hellaciously funny (and applauded) Democratic funnyman.
That pathetic army guy hadn’t been done his sappy tirade for more than ten minutes when another Freeper...on the live thread...had all the scoop on him PLUS a transcript of another interview with him on CNN.
Ten minutes and anyone reading the live thread knew all about it.
Speaking of the military guy....I think that this little episode is going to backfire on CNN and our homosexual brethren.
That guy was pathetic, his speech was pathetic, his microphone went off, a sign from above almost. I cringed from embarrassment, not mine, but for this guy.
The American Middle Class....sometimes we are so hard-headed. Most of us wish no harm on homosexual citizens, nor should we, most of us want them to pursue their happiness as guaranteed by the constitution, most of us have a homosexual relative or know one. I maintain there’s no cruelty in our hearts over those whose sexuality is not in line with the mainstream.
But Americans are notorious for not caring to see this kind of thing on national TV, not wanting the children unnecessarily exposed to a very questionable lifestyle, perferring a sort of socialistic “don’t ask and don’t tell” policy.
It’s not a good argument and the public sentiment will never lean toward espousing what that retired general was proposing...ie a military with homosexual soldiers who openly flaunt their gayness and everything that may, or may not, mean.
We’re all hard heads out here in la-la land and while the politically correct have kept us silent, comes the time to vote and homosexual interests are just not way high on the average American’s agenda.
They hate that.
That army guy was the blackest mark of any debate yet. He helped his cause not a whit.
Which is why the pubbies have to stop blow-drying their hair and fight dirty right back.
They’re counting on the pubbies being “virtuous”.
Virtuous will have us lose the election.
Do you listen to him?
Would you rather he NOT be on CNN so the conservative view never gets aired?
Fishtalk, I agree 100%.
WHY did the GOP agree to this format, and above all, why on CNN? Why didn’t someone say that given the last YouTube debate with the democrats, it was obviously not a serious format and they wouldn’t participate?
If any of those candidates had simply gone after CNN on the type of questions, or even better, walked off the stage, he would have gotten my vote (except for Paul).
The debate was designed to highlight social issues which are divisive in the GOP and by the over-the-top acting of the PLANTS, designed to make the GOP base look like a bunch of racist, fringer nut-cases.
Bill Bennett IS on it this morning. He's putting up a defense of Cooper - said it "was not his job to vette the questioners..." Bennett said he brought it up last night and that Cooper apologized.. I did not watch, but I assume Bennett was on the show??
Ditto for Lou Dobbs.
And the 'Rats refused to go to their Dec. 10th "debate". If they can't rig the game, they won't play.
The CNN-Dem debate revealed the network’s desired end state: elect Hillary. The CNN-Rep debate revealed that the network will employ any means to make it happen.
Is it possible that CNN’s arrogance is so repulsive to the citizenry that this event will forever tarnish the network’s reputation? Or has this nation come to accept that the ends justify the means?
Nor is it a question ANY numbers of people are dwelling on. It is proof of how far out of touch the left is with what is important to Americans (real ones).
Cooper was a part of that charlie foxtrot, why shouldn't he be held account? Or do the intellectually challenged get a free pass, Mr. Bennett? Then again, how much brains do you need to google someone?
