I frequently hear that that are 12 million illegals in the entire country.
Now, if Florida has 5 million, that means that all of the other states combined have just 7 million. Yeah, right!
Also, note that the Center for Immigration Studies is a solidly anti-illegals group (some would say "anti-immigrant" but I would disagree). But they certainly don't have a track record of minimizing the problems caused by illegals. I've looked at the whole study, and it's a pretty sober nd fair analysis.
So, just yelling that it's 50 or 70 or 90% of all "immigrants" (which includes 90-year old italians who have been citizens for 70 years, etc. -- it means ANYONE born in another country, regardless of status as citizen, LPR, or whatever) that are illegal isn't much of an argument.
