Hunter had a solid performance. He was more animated this time, but also by far the most genuine/"real" and grounded. As with every previous debate, he by far has the most solid grasp of military/national security matters.

McCain was the most dignified, but was hurt on immigration ("It wasn't amnesty")

Romney was nervous, defensive, and back on his heels all night.

Rudy likes the sound of his own voice and does not come across as genuine. He stepped in it big time on guns, and on twisting around his position on the authority of Scripture. He left one wondering: What is the guiding principle in his life?

Huckabee was good in the debate - personable, funny, and genuine.

Fred was good, not great, somewhat like Nixon in the 1960 debate. He did have his moments, like the funny comment: "For a moment I was afraid that was me!"

Tancredo breathed fire. Like Hunter, he "gets" it.

Ron Paul, wrong as he is on foreign policy,

I do have to say that Huckabee had the best quote of the night, regarding Mars travel.
