Big blip on Drudge.
*****UPDATE******
It turns out that Keith Kerr, retired Colonel., U.S. Army; retired Brigadier General, California National Reserve, who submitted a YouTube question about gays in the military, is actually a member of Hillary Clinton's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual Americans For Hillary Steering Committee. He's also part of a film production crew trying overturn the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.
UPDATE: In the final seconds of the post-debate coverage, Anderson Cooper acknowledges that CNN messed this up and states that CNN did not know that Kerr has a position within the Clinton campaign and that had they known, they would have disclosed the association.
Didnt those MORONS realize it would only be a matter of HOURS that they would be busted, in this day and age??
How stupid.
I knew Freepers and others in the pajama media must have been on it busy as beavers the moment General Gay's onslaught began upon the GOP field.
“Both men did well tonite.”
Are you sure you watched tonights debate? Romney got KILLED and he can say goodbye to SC after his flag tirade. That’s the real Romney that snuck out there.
Fred has my vote too.....
But he was positively awful. Almost as bad as Romney, who came across as just a weasel. Admittedly, he got harder questions, but he didn’t handle them well, and they were all just throwing his own words back at him.
I think (and hope) that Romney’s toast. Unfortuantely, I think (and FEAR) that Thompson is as well. He seems to be in a death spiral, and that attack ad was just really out of place.
I fear we’re down to Huckabee and Guiliani. Pretty sad choice and I honestly at this point don’t know which one I would prefer. Guiliani’s smarter. Huckster is a bit (not much) more conservative.
I’ll vote GOP no matter what...but where are our great conservative voices? I really wish Newt would have run. He might not have won, but he’s ten times smarter than any of these guys.
Oh well.
Hank
Yeah, right...next time you're gonna watch a GOP debate make sure your television's on. It clearly wasn't this time.
Well, the Hillary campaign planted questions in the Democrat debate, too, so no one should be surprised. I think that CNN might have given each of the Democrat candidates the opportunity to plant a question in the Democrat debate. I wonder if they were an equal opportunity leftist organization again this time.
bttt
One, the PLANTED Hillary Clinton Team's question on GAYS fielded at our GOP guys to upset them or shake up things.
and
b) DUNCAN HUNTER, who took the question first, skillfully, deftly and unapologetically slamming it right back down their throats. (sorry for the perceived pun). It was excellent. MUST SEE TV.
CNN was in on the scheme from the beginning.
Anderson Cooper may not have known, but there's no question several someones in the corner offices knew. It wasn't a mistake. Nor was it a mistake that the first of the "undecided Republicans" in the focus group they interviewed post debate stated that the debate led her to lean toward John Edwards.
But, as you point out, it just further reveals what CNN is. It is not a news organization. They are political activists who, along with the candidate they support, believe deception is a legitimate tool to achieve their agenda.
He got more time because he was a plant and they intended to give him more time. Trust me.
I saw it, Hunter did fine with the question.
My dad thinks that there is a good chance that it will all come down to the Republican convention, with Newt being drafted. Time will tell!
Earlier I had heard her express support for Romney, and she implied that she found him more acceptable than Rudy, but she made the point that Rudy and Romney were holding office in liberal places so they wouldn't be any worse than they have been so far, whereas Thompson and McCain were elected from conservative states (so they shouldn't get as much credit for being right on issues, where that position is popular).
ROFLOL!! And the guy just happened to have his own mic too... Who’da thunk?
There were other plants as well, but Chuck Norris took care of them. lol

From your dad's mouth to God's ears!
Hank
The CNN DEMO DEBATE. They had ‘friendly’ plants to ask questions, and the candidates mostly came off as IDIOTS.
The CNN REPUBLICAN DEBATE. They had ‘enemy’ plants to ask questions, and the candidates mostly came off with excellent answers.
So..... CNN’s little game has backfired on them. Twice.
after I posted this, just got the magazine today, I’m seeing it all over the internet, news stories, etc. what a hoot.
“who took the question first, skillfully, deftly and unapologetically slamming it right back down their throats. “
The planted questioner, Gen. Kerr(?) was hard to understand due to a very raspy voice.
Maybe he had too many things slammed down his throat.
“Nor was it a mistake that the first of the “undecided Republicans” in the focus group they interviewed post debate stated that the debate led her to lean toward John Edwards.”
I almost forgot that part.
It almost sounded like the woman in that focus group was in the ‘idiot’ (democrat) category.
When asked which candidate she might now choose, she said “none”. Then the moderator had to remind her that ‘earlier’ she said she was for Edwards. (and then the light, albeit dim, came on in her head)
I think she blew her lines. I think the joke was supposed to happen like this.
“Which of these candidates do you lean towards now?”
And she was supposed to say , “John Edwards.”
