My Dad’s side of the family is largely Mormon, and I really don’t care about the candidates’ religions, so long as they aren’t radical islamists, militant atheists, or scientologists. Mitt’s LDS problem is not Latter Day Saints, but rather Lacking Decisive Stands. I don’t oppose him because of his religion, although some here seem to support him only because of it.
I don’t trust him at all. Even if he’s saying the right things on gays, guns, and abortion right now, his record has been all over the map, and he STILL supports the assault weapons ban.
I’m not buying it.
