This is an election, not just about Rudy did on one day. Nobody has a problem with his actions dealing with 9/11 or his support for the war.
It is his pro-choice, gun control, pro gay, pro illegals and higher tax stands people have serious problems with.....and we have not even begun to delve into his fun past scandals.
Some don't have a problem with it, and others ridicule it. I take it you're one of the former, so that's great. His social views are definitely too liberal and I agree with the rest of your post, mostly.
