(Fayetteville, AR)- The Arkansas Federation of Republican Women members are calling the Sudanese Embassy in Washington, DC to ask Ambassador Khidir Haroun Ahmend do everything possible to save the British teacher Ms. Gillian Gibbons from a legal decree sentencing her to 50 lashes because her students chose to name a classroom teddy bear Muhammad. Ms. Gibbons has been charged with misconduct against the Islamic faith.
"We see this as nothing less than a death sentence for this poor woman. She has apologized and has meant no disrespect of either Islam or it's prophet. Even the 7 year old student of Gibbons said when he suggested the class name the bear Muhammad, the child wasn't thinking of Islam's prophet."
"The AFRW feels obligated to help women from all around the world and we need to stand up for the injustice that would be done in carrying forward with this sentence.", stated Anne Britton.

How interesting that the AR Federation of GOP women are taking this action while apparently the NAG gang and their ilk remain silent. I guess only the evil oppressive USA can be anti woman.
Good for these women to speak out. Conservative women are truly stronger and more independent than the whiners and professional victims.
Note to Western women: Do not go to Islamic countries. If you do, you are putting your life in the hands of people who think you are one rung down from a goat.
Thank you all for your support! I have contacted all the news outlets with press releases but yet no MSM including Fox News have called yet! AFRW has over one thousand members and we are all going to call and fax. Please call your local talk shows on this. And I totally agree I would not go to an Islamic country. The women are treated worse than a pig!
Or buy a cheap AK as soon as you land, and carry it everywhere.
