The two easiest way for frauds to get power is through religion or politics!
Doing both should throw up a huge red flag.

Huckabee is a semi-liberal son of a bleep, but I’d prefer him to that baby-butchering abomination, Rudy Giuliani.

Of course I would rather see Fred up there at the top of the pack but since that’s not in the cards for Iowa I have to look at these latest numbers as a kind of good news. I don’t think Huckabee has a credible national scenario, so if he delivers an early knockout to Romney (or early heavy blow) that’s a good thing.

They’re still within the margin of error. It’s a statistical tie.
Slick Willard should be winning the state by 8-10, though, and it’s embarrassing to be tied with anyone.

Compared to our prior survey, the trend is unmistakable-Huckabee has gone up and just about everybody else has gone down. Huckabee's 28% support represents a twelve point increase from a Rasmussen Reports poll conducted earlier in the month.Poor Willard.
His entire plan is to win Iowa and New Hampshire and ride a wave into the other states and Super Duper Tuesday.

Evangelical Christians should understand that limited government, fiscal discipline and lower taxes is the only means that leads to a free society where traditional moral values and ideas can prosper.
We must reject this notion of big government Republicanism where government can be used as a means to promote conservative values.
Conservative values consist of making government less intrusive in the individual lives of Americans.
Our nominee should definitely be Pro-Life and Pro-Marriage, but must be adamant about the principles that are at the core of the conservative movement: smaller government, fiscal responsibility and less taxes.
Individual liberty and freedom must be the Banner for Conservatives, now and forever.

I tend to agree with you. Of those in the field who do you see fitting this definition closest?

We never seem to be able to get the whole enchilada, do we? I'm sure Huckabee will be getting a lot more scrutiny in the near future which may take some wind out of his sails. We shall see.

I think many center, center-left voters in Iowa are turned off by thier choices (Hitlery, Obama and co.), and are choosing a center-right candidate.
We saw the same scenarios in 2000, and 2004. It’s how we got Bush, and Dems ended up with Kerry...

Everyone stressed over pro abort Rudy, but now we see the flip side. An anti abortion Rino or worse who can get the evangelical vote based on that one issue. It’s an imperfect World.

If Huckster knocks Willard out in Iowa they are both done.
Huckster would be too broke to run anywhere else and not enough time to raise money.
The big money power brokers would never support his campaign. And that is what it takes to raise lots of fast cash.
