I stopped buying talapia also when I noticed where it was “raised” and found out that on these fish farms they feed them..well, don’t even give it to your cat- throw it out.
Yikes, the tilapia is already thawed out and ready for the frying pan. Haven’t checked the origin yet but I can bet on where, because most of the fish in Sam’s Club comes from you know where. That said, so far so good. I’ll even go down and check the bag standby...BINGO! Farm raised CHINA. Darn, that’s our favorite fish besides Salmon and shrimp.
