Still not getting it I see... Go look at the OTHER manufactures of light aircraft... Notice wher they build their craft? Places like Oshkosh, Wichita, Hutchinson, Deluth, etc... Ya know... In the USA?

There is zero reason thta it couldn’t be done here competitively... Except for Cessna’s overhead... See labor costs.

Probably true about the overhead. That said, however, you can rest assured that Citation X buyers are subsidizing a part of the Airframe liability costs for this...

Piper was forced into bankruptcy by litigation, and has only recently recovered.

This aircraft is the fullfillment of a promise by Cessna CEO Russ Meyer to Senator Kassenbaum who pushed through the liability Statute of Repose legislation.
