BUFFALO, N.Y. A 48-year-old man entangled in an Internet love triangle built largely on lies was sentenced Tuesday to 20 years in prison for killing his rival for the affection of a woman he had never met.
Thomas Montgomery, who posed as an 18-year-old Marine in online chats, pleaded guilty in August to gunning down Brian Barrett, 22, in a parking lot at the suburban Buffalo factory where they worked.
The motive was jealousy, investigators said. Both were involved online with a middle-aged West Virginia mother who herself was posing as an 18-year-old student.

i dont need to read the whole thing in order to say: WHAT?
I hope no one calls me insensitive, but I had to laugh at this.
Evolution in action, indeed.
And these idiots votes count as much as yours or mine...
I know! And they were both the same age anyway

the internet may be the leading cause of death in a few years.
Did these three live in trailer parks???
“And these idiots votes count as much as yours or mine...”
I was thinking the same thing while grocery shopping at a Walmart store yesterday afternoon.
And now, on a lighter note we return to New Mayfair Orchestra, directed by Ray Noble featuring Al Bowlly sing ‘Falling In Love Again’.
Yes. I'm reminded of a somewhat recent story where a sailor murdered a marine after being told that this marine raped the sailor's on-line love interest --a woman whom neither man had ever met in person. When this woman showed up to testify, needless to say she was literally about 300 lbs heavier and a few years older than the photos on her profile. The sailor had a look on his face that said, "I'm going to spend the rest of my life in prison for THAT?!?!?!"
The whole thing is very sad. A poor 22 year old lost his life due to a couple of middle aged losers who had to pretend to be other than what they really are.
Sir walter scott
yes
tangled or not?
And he will deserve it.
Sheesh, with webcams available everywhere and almost as cheap as a six-pack of beer???
We need some more chlorine for the gene pool, that’s for sure.
Not anymore. In New York felons lose the right to vote for life, unlike the P.R. Massachusetts, were they cast absentee ballots while serving life terms. (I can't make this stuff up.) At least until Idiot Spitzer fixes it.
So three votes for Hillary have been compressed into one. Oh, I forgot, Necro-Americans can still vote in New York, make that two.
