The fight over when the special election will occur has begun. Gov Haley and AG Hood are verbally sparring. Haley wants the special election to be in Nov 2008. Hood wants it in 100 days. MS’s Secretary of State says a court will eventually rule on the matter.
also pay no attention to Blog Gossip about Haley considering Michael Epsy as Lott’s heir. That’s just internet hearsay.
