The only reason this is happening is the Israeli have gone weak in the knees. Not all of course, but enough that the government has the backing to sell out once again.
Where will they stop giving away what is theirs for this false hope of peace with these arab occupiers? Masada maybe? When all that is left is a refuge like Masada then will they see it is hopeless to deal with these lying, murderous occupiers?
NUTS !!!

"Maybe tell and speak the truth or is that just too insane of an idea." That is too insane of an idea. No doubt this will be just one more exercise in futility at brokering peace between Israel and the Palestinians. But notice who isn't there: The Hamas terrorists, the Fatah terrorists, the Hezbollah terrorists.
This conference could possibly lead to some good, who knows.

[Bush] sounds like a man who believes he has won Bush may very well believe it, but he's not exactly a stranger to delusions. Rewarding terrorism is never a win.

W. has never been pro-Israel enough for me.Nor for me. Israel looks like it's standing alone once again amidst the Religion Of Pieces...wonder what it's like staring at murderers and terror exporters...right across the table,"You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies...." ps 23:5

"to confront terrorism and incitement, whether committed by Palestinians or Israelis"
WTH?!?!?!?!?!? "Terrorism commit ed by Israelis?!?!?!?!?!?" Yeah, right, there have been thousands of incidents of Israelis strapping bombs to themselves and blowing up Amalekstinian market places, pizza parlors, buses, mosques, etc., etc., etc. To say nothing of all those Israeli "terrorists" holding demonstrations and howling "Allahu fubar" like drunken hyenas. Yeah, and how 'bout all those Israeli "terrorists" that try to sneak into Arab hospitals to blow them up?!? Oh, and how 'bout all those Israeli "terrorists" that try to murder Arabs gathering at mosques for Ramadan?!?!?!?!? Let's not forget all those Israeli "terrorists" that hijacked airliners and cruise ships since the late 1960s for the "cause" of "liberation." And we cannot forget that the Hebrew Bible says that if a Jewish person kills a Christian or a Muslim or any other gentile that said Jewish person is guaranteed a place in Heaven!" And who can forget all those Israeli "terrorist" leaders who, over the years, have called for the destruction of the muzzie nations and claimed all the land from Morocco to Pakistan!!?!?!??!?!
Obviously, I'm being way, way sarcastic!!!! "Terrorism and incitement by Israel?!?!?!?" 'Scuse me while I step in to the next room, break a few things, and use language that will be so blue that my dead mother will come back from the grave and wash out my mouth with soap!!!!!!

I share the outrage about the moral equivalency of the terrorism statement, but I wonder why it is directed at W. This is not his statement (albeit under his “auspicies”) but Olmert and Abbas’ joint statement. It is Olmert who deserves the lion’s share of calumny for signing on to such an atrocity. To those (not on this thread) who say that this is a serious framework for negotiation or that Israel will be able to maintain it’s redline positions, Olmert has shown in this statement that everything is on the auction block.
As far as Bush’s auspicies go, they ain’t lookin’ too auspicious for Israel.

Yes that is what I’m hearing now. It was Olmert and Abbas statement , Bush just read it.

Condi said this morning on some morning show taking it from memory...”its time for the occupied lands that wa.. that can be the palestinians once again.”
Super bad choice of words, she called Isreal occuied lands,
Jerusalem is included in that statement. The Secretary of State should know it is the only land ever given with the title deed from the creator Himself.
