"I read somewhere that Rudy’s law firm has Murdoch as a client. Anyone else got a line on this?"

The information I have (and no one has contradicted this info) is:

Bracewell and Giuliani, Rudy’s law firm head-quartered in Houston, TX – is legal counsel for Fox News. Fox News is Giuliani’s client. Fox is a stooge for Rudy. The Saudis bought 10% of NewsCorp, (Fox News) recently as well.

Take that, and Murdoch's hosting a fund raiser for Hillary... is the picture coming less fuzzy yet?

The idea of using Bloomberg’s name to hit on girls strikes me as really, really weird, even by New York standards. Sadly, you’re probably right ...

“the guy next to her suddenly perked up and gushed,”

The truth is self evident, all men are NOT created equal.

Perhaps “some have been bought” is too strong a way to put it. What I meant as that they have been flattered, or promised some role in the future administration, or future access, or whatever. All legitimate political tricks, in their ways, but I suspect that Fred has done less of this sort of thing.

“Don’t know about Murdoch as Giuliani’s client, but do know that Rupert has been pushing Hillary in the New York Post and Rudy on Fox. Talk about hedging one’s bets!”

Right! The MSM including FOX wants either Hillary of Rudy. Very understandable since they are both the same on the issues! What they don’t know is that in spite of their pushing Rudy, he will not win the nomination. I believe Fred Thompson will! I sure hope I get to see Fred while he is here in St. Petersburg for the debate Wednesday. Just hoping there will be a chance to see him while he is here in Florida! GO FRED! :)

“Wednesday’s debate is going to be a doosey.”

It will not be a doosey if CNN can help it. They will attempt to structure it so as to have inane or assinine questions........or trick ones........and PREVENT anything positive or helpful from coming across from the REP debators. The only way this will not happen is if the REPs take the bit in their teeth, ignore the CNN flacks, and say what they WANT to say. INHO

No one remembers a thing the Dems said during their YouTube debate, only the questions. OTOH, I get the feeling the Pubs are in major attack mode, and after seeing the way Fred stand up to Chris Wallace yesterday, I’m betting that he scores major points on Wednesday.

Will do! We are going to a local FredHead get together this evening in Clearwater and perhaps will hear about Fred’s appearances that may be in the works for this week while he is in Florida. GO FRED! And I am ready to go down to the debate site on Wednesday evening with my 6 foot sign that says the same thing! :)

He's a smart neocon. Neocons, being liberal on social issues will support Rudy.

Freds a true conservative in the mold of Reagan.

This author also believes that Fred has “regained his footing”

No...it's not that.....Kudlow regained his senses and is just now beginning to smell the coffee.

I watched the entire interview. The best part of it was when he snapped back at Chris Wallace about Fox News’ apparent pro-Rudy bias. All he needs to do now to convinced me to vote for him and contribute to his campaign is to show similar fire in attacking the Witch.

So Fred’s been out front on a) illegal aliens b) taxes c) social security d) 2nd Amendment, e) foreign affairs and the WOT. He’s got reasoned, doable and principled positions.

However, Fred Thompson is, unless I am very mistaken, the only one who has gone on the record with specifics as to how he would solve the major areas of concern to the American public. In those specifics he lets you know where he stands and that is worth its weight in gold.

Hooray Fred!

I didn’t see it coming at all. My favorite part of the exchange was when Chris Wallace said that it wasn’t only Fox that was trashing his campaign, to which Fred replied, well, that’s all you showed me : )

In an interview several months ago, Fred was asked, in the context of being called 'Reaganesqe'... will he abide by Reagan's 11th Commandment..."never speak ill of another Republican".

To which Fred replied: "I have a different commandment...do unto others that which they do unto you".
