Irving minister Pedro Portillo ... a former Catholic priest...

Exsqueeze me???
If he's an "ex" priest, he ain't NO minister.

(Portillo) said his experience as an advocate for the poor in El Salvador....

That explains why he's an "ex" priest. He was prolly helping the commie FMLN ('the poor') during the civil war, was caught and got excommunicated. He's lucky he's still sucking air.
