Their victory and our defeat has slipped from their hands. Naturally, they want to change the subject.

I believe it was Rudy G that made that statement not so long ago. You’ve got to respect a man with that type of vision and cojones to say what he thinks. Go Rudy!

free advice to Bush: In State of the Nation speech, make a strong case how things have improved and in the end of that segment, thank for General Petreus and the troops for achieving victory in Iraq (republicans and J.Lieberman applauding and Hillary looking awkward trying to applaud the troops but not Bush). Also at the SOTU: a special thanks to Betty Casey and Rush Limbaugh for the money they gave to MCLEF, and explain the reason why the money was raised - while Stretch Pelousy is up on the dais, and the 41 signatories to the smear letter are in the chamber.

How would you like to be known for rooting against your Country and its military?? What a waste of a Party.I'm rereading Ann Coulters's "Treason". It is a "must read" for any Conservative. Everything bad I knew about the Dims was the tip of a massive iceberg of sedition...

I view the importance of the NYslimes and other liberal based L/MSM starting to turn on the far left, almost equal as to the great changes we are seeing in Iraq for the better. As things gain momentum, it will leak into the brains of a lot of Americans and Europeans. How they wish of course to respond, is their choosing. But they will not have an excuse to damn this administration for not attempting to follow through with a game plan to democratize and modernize Iraq.

It does matter that the NYT is reporting on this; it helps break down the ignorance of the Liberal community that usually has no knowledge of the world.

They look abroad and see the inefficiencies of government-controlled medicine and its long waiting lists and say why can’t we have that in America.

Did you find one Republican quoted?
I didn't.
"The Democratic candidates received a boost yesterday from a former American commander in Iraq, Lt. Gen. Ricardo S. Sanchez, who delivered the partys response to Mr. Bushs radio address. General Sanchez said that despite the security gains, there was no evidence that Iraqs leaders were working toward a peace accord. He endorsed a Democratic measure in the House to withdraw all combat troops by December 2008."
Robby, this is why I don't like his quotes.

That’s another example of how objective the MSM is.

Or trust them.

Right. This is why the Dems put him on. The bad thing is that he is voicing the opinion of many in the Pentagon, who hate the success that we are having in Iraq. Some of themn never wanted the war; some performed poorly in 2006; and most are just plain envious. Every flag officer is a politician. Onemakes rank by merit up to Colonel. Thereafter, politics, especially the three-stars.

Yes...I’ve heard all of that, sadly.
It reflects poorly on them.
