Neither of these men will kiss the golden ring of the media.
BO (appropriate initials if you ask me) was complaining about the lack of Thompsons appearances on Fox today.
Both of them take it directly to the people. The MSM and I now include Fox in that disparaging bunch...get their wittle egos bent out of shape because neither are begging to be allowed airtime on their shows. They in turn have nothing good to say about either candidate.
Come on? Thompson, sure, he's viable, but Hunter? His candidacy has been a long-shot from the start and there's no way he'd do anything against a RAT in a general election.
I don't understand why Thompson didn't seize on the momentum he had when he announced his candidacy. Yes, the MSM coverage is part of the problem, but he's been outshined by folks like Huckabe in the debates.
A conspiracy? Probably not. More like a candidacy that has unfortunately not been able to sustain any momentum for a myriad of reasons.
Aahh, the vaunted Cone of Silence, second time this week.
That would be a whole lot funnier, if it wasn’t entirely consistent with visible facts...
How does Rush run America?
Rush doesn’t have time for much politics, he needs to report on so many important studies and stories from other countries.
Medved has called for Hunter to get out of the race, he likes Rudy, Huckster, Mitt and even McLame.
Congressman Hunter would (demolish) any Democrat in the general election!
Reagan style landslide.
On the issue of trade, alone.
I must agree with what you posted. No arguments from me on that issue.
However, the time when we elected the most qualified for public office, is long gone.
Beware the government/media complex!
For Dr. Alan Keyes, the "black out" is almost total. And I mean that quite literally.
Between the Rove hacks, the political directors at the networks, and the self-appointed gatekeepers of the conservative movement, (who are now mostly supporting liberals) the choices are being narrowed down to only those who are to the Left of Bush, most radically so.
Funny picture!
In my part of Mid Wisconsin (in a county that has voted Republican every single election since the 1800's) I do not see the enthusiasm for Fred, and no discussion what so ever for Duncan. Since the beginning, Rudy has had the most support. That seemed to wane when talk of Fred Thompson entering the race. There were a lot of people just waiting on him, yet after he officially entered the race people started switching back. They were just not impressed.
Another candidate that has enjoyed VERY loyal support is John McCain. His supporters have been very steady. It seems like around here anyway, the party members I am in contact with are willing to put social issues on the back burner for this election, and go for the toughness of a Rudy or McCain.
This may be all anecdotal, but this is what I am seeing in my local party.
Medved is a CFR goon.
Save....
Conservatives whine that we dont have a strong conservative. Not only is this blatantly irrational, its seems to be a blatant and deliberate corruption of what’s probably the most important issue of the century.
A bumper sticker you saw in Austin ca. 1996.
Some days I think McCrazy has been decided for us.
