Its five strands of diamonds covered her decolletage and made the Queen's jewels look quite modest as they attended the Queen's banquet for the Commonwealth Heads of Government in Kampala, Uganda, on Friday.
But Camilla didn't deliberately set out to overshadow her mother-in-law - the Queen gave her permission to borrow it from the royal collection.
Camilla's favourite couturier, Anna Valentine, designed her a simple duck-egg blue dress and matching stole to set off the necklace, estimated to be worth tens of millions of dollars.
The Duchess added the Queen Mother's Boucheron tiara, a set of diamond earrings and the Queen Elizabeth II Family Order, given to female members of the royal family.

Camilla is usually not this ostentatious. These jewels are wearing/overwhelming her.

When they said Charles had "stones" this must be what they were talking about.
Maybe they're also saying Camilla has "rocks" as well, but I doubt they mean jewelry.

Hildebeast is in search of her own “crown”. Queen Hildebeast’s existence makes me wish her ancestors had fallen overboard on their trip to the New World.

Yikes how much hairspray (Big Sexy Hair) did they have to use to get Camillias hair to do that in the wedding pictures.
Or maybe that is just a hat of an unfortunate color.

Does this remind anyone else of an old story about the French courtesan, Camille--back in, I believe, the 1700's?
As I remember the story Camille's power as the #1 prostit...er...courtesan was being challenged by a new, younger, beautiful lass.
The younger version was going to make her claim to the title at some big to-do: She wore every fantastic piece of jewelery she'd been "gifted with" to show how appreciated she was.
To show her up, Camille walked downstairs into the party wearing a simple black dress with NOT ONE PIECE OF JEWELRY on...but behind Camille walked her maid--wearing all of Camille's jewels.
It seems that Cammy, II didn't learn a thing from her namesake...

If you finish that limerick, one wonders what final word will rhyme with "hag."

Honestly I find nothing to recommend any of them. They all committed immoral acts and blamed others for THEIR choices.

The babe cried and died
The Prince said I won't lie
I wanna be a hag's douche bag

Camilla is warm, friendly and much liked by those who have regular dealings with her"
This may be true, but she obviously doesn't have much of a sense for fashion, hmm? Whoever coordinates her wardrobe and accessories should be fired. If it is Camilla herself, shame on her for overdoing it.

LOL!
I thought you might, in the end, call “the prince” something that started with an “f” and ended with a rhyming “ag.”

For what it’s worth, Di and Camilla were both adulterers. At least Camilla confined herself to one outside interest, as far as we know. Also, Camilla was relatively discreet. She didn’t put her friends up to gabbing to tabloid reporters, make hundreds of crank phone calls to lovers who threw her over, and sleep with men who would later “tell all.”
