NY POST ^ | November 24, 2007 | GEOFF EARLE, Post Correspondent, Post Wire Services

Fred Thompson ....campaigning at a NH gun store..... told reporters Giuliani too often turns to his time as NYC mayor to explain his support for stronger gun restrictions. "....he was at bill-signing ceremonies with NY Sen Chuck Schumer and President Clinton and others for gun-control legislation over the years. Of course, he's not as outspoken about it any more."

I kinda like Fred’s folksy zingers. Wish I’d see him more, but either his people are not very good, or the msm is keeping him out of the news. Of course, that wouldn’t be censorship because he is not a liberal.

This is deliberate. The media wants a candidate easily defeatable by Hillary. If Fred was that, they'd be forcing his candidacy down our throats. Because he is the only viable Conservative than can beat Hillary, they'll do the worst thing possible you can do to a candidate, ignore them.

" P-l-e-a-s-e make me sound conservative."

"My stupid advisors told me I didn't need those redneck gun nuts and
those dumb pro-life Christian conservatives to make a primary showing."

" They're killing me on FR just b/c I dumped my wife for my mistress, don't talk
to my kids, was honored by NARAL, donated to Planned Parenthood, marched
for gay rights under the NAMBLA banner, appointed gays and pedophiles
to top city jobs, and coddled illegals with gov't freebies."

For examples, see: Rudy "Drag Queen" Giuliani, Mitt "Gay Marriage" Romney or Mike "Open Borders for Jesus" Huckabee.

Giuliani told the Weekly Standard he voted for McGovern but really thought Nixon was the better candidate.....He knew Nixon would keep the nation “safer,” but he voted for McGovern anyway b/c he opposed the Vietnam war.

Backtracking-----Giuliani now says said he did that when he was in “reflex mode”..........

(waiting for hysterical laughter to die down)

Looks like Giuliani is trying to make the Giuness Book of World Records as "The Most Idiotic Presidential Candidate in US History."

Just this morning, this article was mentioned on Fox news.

The female nitwit talking head for the GOP kept saying Fred was in just too late and that Rooty is da man.

Fred gets no attention from the MSM and very little from Fox. They always manage to toot up Rooty, and dismiss Fred.

Most insulting was this female talking head remarking that Red State America is so gullible and ignorant that we all believe all the hero hype about Rooty and are impressed by it.

Sorry, these Beltway types are dumber than those they insult. This young lady couldn’t be more wrong.

Out of interest, the Dim talking head said Huckabee is a real threat. This leads me to believe that Fred is probably the one that they would not like Hillary to have to run against.

Fred should zing the Drag Queen some more on his NYC background. I think it would resonate well in real America. Most of us can’t stand NYC anyway and it would make him look more like a regular person, rather than an inside-the-beltway former lobbyist.

Eddie01 endorses Fred Thompson for president.

Regardless of airwave access, everything out of Fred’s mouth has been music to my ears. He is now offically my candidate.

It has come to me that we may well be seeing the first of the Fast Food chain vs Fast Food chain election wars.

A Hillary special, served KFC style

or a rudy tooty, fresh and fruity, served IHOP style

I am not saying this to pile on... and I am among the very FIRST Fox News viewers. I was receiving them on a big dish long before most cable had them. I have not watched any other news outlets since their inception... outside of a little of Brit Hume... I NEVER turn Fox on these days. This “fair and balanced” approach has become corrupted by liberal management. Hume’s wife was an anchor to reality but she left recently. Murdoch is even backing hildebeast. Fox to me is almost dead... and they had better go to “reporting the truth... you decide” if they want to survive.

I wholeheartedly agree. I hardly watch Fox News anymore either. Their cheerleading for open borders and the Drag Queen makes me want to vomit.

Fred...

Giuliani "simply supported just about every gun-control legislation that came down the pipe. I just disagree with him on that," Thompson said.

"I saw he was at bill-signing ceremonies with [New York Sen.] Chuck Schumer and President Clinton and others for gun-control legislation over the years. Of course, he's not as outspoken about it any more."

MSM media can not keep rooty in the air forever. And rooty must be cussin the Supreme Court for taking the Heller case `cause it’s gonna push the issue right out to the front

Meanwhile, Fred maintains course and speed.

:-)
