NY City may not be emblematic nor representative of the rest of the country. But the people who live there are (mostly) Americans, just like the rest of us, and have the same rights as the rest of us. The Bill of Rights applies in New York City just as much as anywhere else. If their politicians don't think so, perhaps it is time to "Git a Rope"
