so whats worse living with pain or living with out a decent meal and a few beers? I live a "balanced" lifestyle: a little joy, a little pain. The problem lies in remembering to have the pain pills on hand at the right time. I no longer drink beer for a lot of reasons, not just gout. I enjoy our local abundance of wines instead, in moderation.
