You need to be corrected. The driver did not jam his hands in his pockets at any time. In fact, all he had done was put the thumb of his right hand into his right pants pocket shortly after he got out of the car, and he kept it there when he started slowly moving away.

Road lawyer dude is no different than this guy. They both got what they asked for. You really open yourself to pain and misery when you try to bully and control a traffic stop. Saying as little as possible helps in court, too. The trick is to let the cop dig himself a hole with his talking, not the other way around.
