My body, my choice, to steal a phrase from them -- I chose to 'be selfish' and have a child. Most wonderful experience -- even when she's screaming and acting like the world's worst brat. The world's a little nicer place with her in it, I'd like to think.
I plan to be extra selfish next year, too. Another baby for the Repo Girl/Big Guy and Rusty 99 brood (and hopefully, another conservative voter, already we've got Baby Hoagy calling any whining crybaby play mate an "Algore"). Guess we'll just have to plant several trees to offset our carbon feetprints -- oh wait, I already own a tree farm in South Carolina, guess I'm good.
