Why would you use such deceptive, inflammatory language? Do you really believe Mr. Thompson and his supporters "hate[s] disabled people"? Really?

It's fine if you disagree with his position; it's fine if you disagree strongly. But you'll garner a lot more credibility--and respect--if you state your views without the infantile, oversimplified, distorted rhetoric you used in this post. You could also stand to lose the sanctimonious (and insincere) "prayers" for the "lost souls" whose only transgression is not thinking like you do. Just a thought.

The hatred aimed at Terri Schiavo and other disabled people is twisted. Praying for the salvation of those who are eaten up with hatred is a Christian act.

2. There is nothing Christian about what you're doing here.

3. You apparently lack the ability to discern who is "eaten up with hatred" and who is not. Perhaps your prayers could be put to better use?

George Stephanopolis is a weasel. He was a presidential confidant who betrayed his President for money, no principal while the President was in office thus undercutting the administration he served.

I'm having trouble understanding you. Are you under the impression that carrying a sign at a debate will substantiate your undocumented claim about what Fred Thompson supposedly said? How would that work?

I check Free Republic and could not find that sentiment. I checked half a dozen different spellings.



That's not to say its never been expressed but it sure isn't part of the normal debate here.

Now if someone thought her husband caused her injuries, that she had voluntary function and there was a money motive I can understand getting involved. But now that we know the autopsy results we know there wasn't a person left to save, only soul and a departed body. So really there should be an admission that this was not the right case to debate. And certainly you are right that the debate should be hate free, at least here among Freepers.

Unless somebody got the moderator to remove it, it’s expressed in exactly the spelling I provided. So who is being dishonest? I, who told the truth and have the evidence to back it up, or you, who claim to have searched and been unable to find what is in plain sight?

That sentiment has also been expressed throughout this thread, in other words. The lie that God supports the killing of Terri and others similarly afflicted is another way of expressing that sentiment. The lie that Terri was brain dead is told to lend support to her killing. All of the lies told in support of killing Terri are born of hatred, not love.

I did not see those words anywhere; perhaps I missed them. Even so, your interpretation of what they mean might not be the correct one. Since I don't know what that phrase means to the person who wrote it, I don't know whether it signifies "Christian love" or not. I do know that my idea of agape does not include deliberately misleading statements and invective of the sort you are engaging in. I'm willing to believe that you have good intentions, but you are accomplishing the exact opposite of what good intentions would imply.
