Rightfully so. They are an excellent tool that gives the officer an added advantage without the lethal power that a gun has.

Although I don't agree with the actions of the cop in this incident, I wouldn't generalize that 'all' or even 'most' cops have this kind of chip on their shoulders. I think that this guy however, clearly did.
