Like I said, all he had to do was sign the ticket and ask his questions in court. Instead, he decided to jump out of his car and rudely walk away from the cop and refuse to sign the ticket. Not a good example of being respectful in my book. I do think the officer overreacted, but the good clean Mormon (as you assume he was) was certainly not setting a good example to his family. If that would have been me with my family I would have simply signed the ticket and argued my case in court. Although, if he was speeding (not a good example to his family by the way) I don’t know why he’d want to fight the ticket instead of just taking responsibility for breaking the law. You use words like “self-respect” and “rights” much like liberals do when making excuses for their behavior. Interesting observation from my perspective.
yep and what if one is from out of state? Gonna drive 3-6-15-30-45 hours to defend your rights in court for a speed trap?
You folks are funny. But then again many here defend anything and everything the government and government workers on MY payroll do. I guess if you are in high school or unemployed you can’t consider the LEO as your employee or if you are on the goverment teat either. Duly noted.
You and I must have watched different videos:
1. He didn't jump out of the car - he was told to "hop out of the car" by the officer
2. He walked to the rear of the car with the officer and then the officer yelled at him to "turn around".
3. The officer said "turn around and put your hands behind you" then immediately shot him with the taser.
4. He NEVER told that young man that he was under arrest.
Liberals may talk about rights but conservatives are supposed to live and breathe rights and freedom. What kind of conservative are you?
