Finally, someone with a little intelligence and maturity.

Thank you , I am fighting a battle with a bunch of hormone-crazed, uneducated pissants, who get overexcited by the media craze on these taserings, and though some of it is justified, it has hampered their ability to see through the haze and find the truth.

It’s easier to say one bad cop, all bad cops.

Tasers are relatively harmless and are designed to give an officer a chance to subdue a combative subject or someone who refuses to follow orders in regard to an arrest without subjecting the officer to harm.

This officer could have tackled the idiot and given him the opportunity to overpower the officer, take his gun and leave his children orphaned. He chose to bring the suspect under control by the use of some harmless high voltage electrical persuasion.

The officer did nothing that I would not have done. He tried to be nice to the guy and was greeted with disrespect and ultimately the subject turned the situation into a dangerous situation for both of them by his juvenile disrespectful attitude.

The officer should be commended for keeping a cool head and diffusing a potentially dangerous situation. The driver should spend some quality time behind bars for resisting arrest.
