Too many people, including a relative of mine, have died waiting for a transplant.

In my opinion you got to be willing to give in order to receive and I am not all that concerned about the reason why someone would not be willing to donate an organ to save a life another human being.

Count me as being Pro Life.

I think many people are like me; they are willing to give their organs, but only if they are sure they don’t need them any more. In some cases there is question about whether all due diligence is actually done. Just because a person is not willing to be labeled as a donor on their license does not mean they are against organ donation. Many choose to let their family make the choice of whether or not organs will be donated depending on the situation.

That is your opinion and you are freee to NOT impose it on other people.

There are SERIOUS vulture issues and this story is just another example in a loooooong line of organ harvesting abuse.

How many people who could have been saved were pronounced dead prematurly? This story would suggest more than one too many. This boy was VERY lucky he could move. If he had been alive but could not move he would be dead not by an accident, but it would be a death by doctor who was more interested in harvesting rather than saving lives.

Fortunatly matters of medical conscience are still not subject to rule by dictator.
