That comment is as American as Orange Pie.
I do not know how religious this family was, so I'll post this as an observation.
Children raised to put their faith in God are never alone, never without someone who understands, and never wihtout a Champion in their battles in life.
One of the greatest fears of a teenager involves humiliation in front of their peer group, often a transient state, and faith allows them to take a longer view or laugh it off.
YMMV
Without that, it can be truly devastating, especially for someone living caught up in the moment.
It is a pity this child was as fragile as she was, and the acts of those who exploited her fragility for their entertainment are beyond despicable.
Makes sense. If I was running the business, I would do the same thing as well. I don’t want to look bad because of one bad apple.
I was out of town last week and heard nothing about this story. Just found out about it a day ago.
Very sad. Kind of makes Thanksgiving a bit of a downer with this in the back of my head.
Apperently evil does exist and her name is Lori Drew.
I don't wish them harm but they deserve to be scared out of their wits over this....
I heard there is a protest rally at her house. I also saw a photo of Lori Drew.
That's an understatement. If this is one of the Drew family, that blog will come back to haunt them in a civil suit. They're in essence admitting that they knew the target of their harassment was dealing with numerous emotional problems.
Yeah. If so, they are putting themselves in a world of s***. Even if Lori Drew and company are not prosecuted, they are a virtually prisoner which they created.
