I think all the Constitution requires is for a candidate to be a US citizen (not naturalized - sorry, Arnie) and be over 40 years old.

You’ve already been corrected on the age thing, but here’s the complete list:

- native born citizen

- over 35

- get the most votes in the electoral college.
